Government Policy
  • 30th Dec 08: Government Policy Statement, delivered by PM Abhisit Vejjajiva to the National Assembly, include 1) urgent policies to be implemented in the first year and the policies on 2) national security 3) social and quality of life 4) economy 5) land, natural resources and the environment 6) science, technology and research and innovation 7) foreign and international economic relations, and 8) good governance.          
  • 13th Jan 09: The cabinet approved the 116.7-billion-baht mid-year supplementary budget for fiscal 2009. The budget will be used for 18 projects, which should help boost the economy. 
  • 20th Jan 09: The government has issues new tex measures to stimulate the economy.
